Republicans Need To Explain Alternative Choices
The conservative Republicans need to explain the difference in choices between them and the liberal Democrats. Say no to the radical liberal plans and then explain the conservative plan and why it's better.
The liberal mainstream media will work in concert with the liberal Democrats. We know this and have to counteract it. The mainstream media and Democrats are already playing the Republicans as the NO party.
Republicans have to say no to the out-of-control Liberal Democrat spending. However, if they are to be effective then they must show the alternative conservative budget, explain it and tell America why it is better. They need to do the same with tax increases. They should explain what the liberal Democrats tax increases will do to the economy and hard working American taxpayers. Then they need to show America the conservative alternative which is tax cuts and why it is better.
There are some very important judicial nominations coming up. When they are bad, Republicans have to stand united. They need to explain to America why they are bad, it cannot be partisan it has to be factual and the reasoning needs to be put forth in a way in which the American people can understand why that particular nomination is detrimental.
The liberal Democrats and Barack Hussein Obama will soon introduce a universal health care plan. The conservative Republicans should be preparing now, to propose in detail a comprehensive alternative to this health care plan. Republicans, you must take the time to outline and explain the differences between the two plans. You have to explain how Americans will receive poorer health care, while busting the budget.
Conservative Republicans have to stand together; a united front is what will be the most effective. They must unite into one very loud voice! This will not be easy. The liberal Democrats will attack continually, the liberal mainstream media will join the Democrats in the attacks. With persistence and a clear united voice we have to keep explaining to America the differences in the liberal Democratic plans and the conservative Republican plans for America.
America stand tall, demand the liberal mainstream media report fairly and accurately. You saw how the liberal mainstream media reported the Tea Parties. Let them know you won't accept any more biased reporting like that. With a grassroots effort we will succeed. We have to let the politicians’ liberals and conservative alike know we won't accept what is happening any longer.

The GOP has just about lost this old conservative and I think the following letter that I sent to GOPUSA this morning explains why:

What ever happened to the National Council for a New America (NCNA)? Last I heard, it had a charter to “form the foundation of a concerted, policy-based forum to listen to, partner with, and empower the American people with ideas and solutions that speak directly to the needs of our great nation," but I have yet to hear another word about it. Has its “blueprint for a conversation with America” disappeared as well?
Not that it matters much because all the NCNA would have generated with its lofty charter and blueprint is a big yawn. However, the unexplained disappearance of the NCNA is a sure sign that the GOP lacks unity and consistency. It also demonstrates that the GOP has become embarrassingly inept.
For your information, there already is a blueprint for “solutions that speak directly to the needs of our great nation.” It is called “The Preamble to The Constitution” and it reads as follows: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
Take a closer look at the Preamble and you will find that it has six specific goals to which all Americans can relate and believe. Those goals will never change while Americans are free. As such, they will serve well as the foundation for any future “blueprint for a conversation with America."
There is no question that the GOP has lost the confidence of its base, so the charter and blueprint of any future body, such as the NCNA, must be believable and inspirational if the GOP has any hope of rejuvenating and expanding its base. What better source for that, and for teaching as well as listening, than The Constitution?
