Green Has Voted Against Legislation To Have Photo IDs To Vote

Elitist progressive liberal Gene Green (D-Texas) has published on his website that he will require attendees to show photo identification to get into his town halls on Obasmacare health care to prove that they're his constituents. He said that he's doing so in response to a "coordinated effort to disrupt our town hall meetings."

This is on Representative Green’s website:

"Town hall meetings are one of my favorite ways to communicate with constituents. I have held hundreds during my years of service in Congress and always welcomed everyone to attend. Unfortunately, due to a coordinated effort to disrupt our town hall meetings, we will be restricting further attendance to residents of the 29th Congressional District and verifying residency by requiring photo identification. Whether individuals agree or disagree, we must maintain order to have a civil discussion of the issues. While I regret this restriction, it is necessary for the safety and consideration of our constituents. Those who do not reside in the 29th Congressional should contact their Member of Congress to voice any concerns that they may have on issues before Congress."

"It’s just a tad ironic that while Congressman Green forces his own constituents to produce photo ID simply to attend a town hall meeting, he doesn’t feel it necessary that people who receive government subsidies should do the same,” said Brad Dayspring, spokesman for House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.).

Green responded, “Services to illegal immigrants are already restricted and not in this health care legislation. We need health care reform, and we need to focus on creating the best policy for our country and giving our constituents access to their members."  Why does Green lie to his constituents?  Services to illegal immigrants are in Obamacare health care bill.  If Representative Green actually wanted to give his constituents access to answers, why do they have to have photo IDs?

This is true democracy in action.  A member of Congress now demands photo IDs to attend his town hall meetings on Obamacare health care and and doesn’t demand photo ID’s to vote in local, state, or national elections.  Is this a poorly veiled attempt at limiting First Amendment rights of free speech?  What is Representative Green hiding that he requires photo IDs to attend a town hall meeting and not for an election?

America it is time to stand up and tell these elitist progressive liberals that we want honesty, ethics, morals, and strong Christian values in our representatives.  We don’t want an elitist group that ignores what is good for the country and only worries about what benefits them.

The elitist progressive liberals including Green need to stop lying to America.  They need to realize that America is waking up to their socialist policies and are saying NO.  Let your Representatives and Senators know that America wants ethical and moral representation by men and women with Christian values.
