Obama Federal Building Construction

Obama Paying Back Another Union

Elitist progressive liberal Barack Hussein Obama is adding to a staggering budget deficit.  Quietly the office of Management and Budget has directed that all construction projects with stimulus money over $25 million will benefit the unions.

Approximately two of 10 construction workers are union members.  That doesn’t matter to Obama, it’s payback time again to the unions.  The UA Workers got their huge pay back and now construction unions will get their payback.

This rule adds 10 to 20% to every Federal construction project.  Contractors will be forced to use union workers or apply inefficient union apprenticeships and rules to their workers.

Contractors will also be required to make contributions to union pension funds and other union programs.  Even when there are no union workers on the job.  Lining the union pockets on the nonunion workers backs.  The nonunion worker does the work and the union benefits.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that only 15.6% of construction workers in America belong to unions.  This means eight out of 10 construction workers in America will legally be denied the right to work on Federal building projects.

In these dire economic times how many workers won’t get a job now?  How many families will suffer so that elitist progressive liberal Obama can make another payment to the unions?  How much more will building projects cost because of the union rules?
