Did They Rebuke Harry Reid?

Unemployment is rising.  The economy is in the tank.  Families are losing their homes.  ACORN an arm of the elitist progressive liberal Democratic Party is in another scandal of corruption.  The elitist progressive liberal Democrats though have time to rebuke Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) for telling the truth when he said ‘you lie.’

The rare rebuke was pushed through by Democrats insisting that Wilson had violated basic rules of decorum and civility in his outburst. Republicans dismissed the vote as a political "witch hunt" and a waste of precious time and taxpayers' money.
Did the same Democrats rebuke Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) when he called then President George Bush a liar and a loser?  Of course not.  That is considered acceptable behavior for elitist progressive liberal Democrats. 

Representative Wilson apologized to elitist progressive liberal Barack Hussein Obama.  Did Reid apologize to George Bush?  He didn’t and the Democrats see nothing wrong with Reid’s words.

The very partisan vote was 240-179.  Unfortunately America has come to expect and accept the unethical behavior of the elitist progressive liberal Democrats.
"The resolution is not about the substance of an issue but about the conduct we expect of one another in the course of doing our business," declared House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., who sponsored the measure with Democratic Whip James Clyburn, (D-SC).

"We're here on some witch hunt, some partisan stunt that the American people are not going to respect," said Republican leader John Boehner (R-OH). Visitors in the gallery applauded that remark, drawing a warning from the chair.

One of the Democrats voting "present," Barney Frank (D-MA), said, "I think it's bad precedent to put us in charge of deciding whether people act like jerks. I don't have time to monitor everyone's civility."

Rarely do I agree with Barney Frank.  This time I do.  He is right the House has a tremendous amount of important work that needs to be done.  That doesn’t include deciding when people act like jerks.  Wilson was out of line and apologized.  This is a deflection by the Democrats because they know Obama did lie and Wilson was right.
