Does Obama Now Decide Who Can Run For Governor?

The elitist progressive liberal Barack Hussein Obama is now meddling in the New York governor’s race.  Does Obama now pick who can run for governor?  Will Obama appoint a czar to pick gubernatorial candidates? 

The New York Times reported Obama called for David Paterson, the Governor of New York, to not run for reelection.  It seems that Paterson's poll numbers don't look good, more than a year out.  "President Obama had sent a request to Mr. Paterson that he withdraw from the New York governor’s race, fearing that Mr. Paterson cannot recover from his dismal political standing, according to two senior administration officials and a New York Democratic operative with direct knowledge of the situation."

The move against a sitting Democratic governor represents an extraordinary intervention into a state political race by even Obama.  Paterson is one of only two African-American governors in the nation.  Is Obama showing some form of racism?
When we get into 2012 how receptive would elitist progressive liberal Obama be to a call from former President Clinton asking Obama to step down for the good of the party.  If unemployment stays above 10%, if the deficit continues to explode, if inflation kicks in, if taxes are being pushed, if we have given up our number one superpower status Obama is going to be a huge anchor on his party.  Would Obama step aside graciously?

Elitist progressive liberal Obama could anoint someone from each state to be governor.  That would be a tremendous cost savings.  No more costly campaigns or elections.  Obama and his czar could decided who should govern each of Obama’s territories.  My mistake I mean each state in America.  If they could do this they would.

America is a free country.  Anyone meeting minimum requirements can run for any office in America.  Even community organizers can run for president.  Obama has NO right to tell Paterson not to run for re-election.  That is up to the people of New York to decide.
