Calling Democrats Progressive Is Incorrect

Many words come into vogue and words go out of vogue.  Many dollars are spent on focus groups testing words.  Some words have a negative connotation.  That is how the lexicon of words and their meanings change.

Focus groups show that liberal and socialist have a negative connotation.  The liberal socialist don’t like to be called liberal socialist.  People immediately have negative thoughts about them when they are called what they are liberals socialists.

The liberal socialists knew they were losing followers because of the negative connotation.  They went looking for a new word to describe themselves.  They wanted a word that has a good connotation.

Focus groups showed progressive is a word with a good connotation.  Progressive, looking forward, moving forward.  The liberal socialists like that.  It’s the opposite of what they are.

One day instead of being liberal socialists they became progressives.  They thought people would like them and join them as progressives.  Their fake name doesn’t change the fact that they are liberals socialists and people know that. A wolf in sheep’s clothing is still a wolf.  The liberal socialists regardless of what they call themselves are still liberal socialists.

For a while the name change will work with some people.  People hear the word progressive and they think a forward thinking person.  It doesn’t take long to figure out though they are really progressive.  They are socialist and regressive.

I stand corrected.  They are progressive.  They are progressively trying to take America backwards.  Progressively trying to force their liberal socialist (now progressive) agenda on America.

Progressive isn’t progressive when referring to progressive Democrats.  The antonym of progressive is regressive.  The Democrats are regressive not progressive.

America when you hear someone call them sells progressive you know they’re actually a regressive liberal socialist Democrat. No one would listen to a regressive Democrat.  No one should listen to a progressive Democrat.  They want to take us toward socialism.
