McCain Remake GOP In His Image

GOP Needs Changes Palin Style Not McCain Style

John McCain is a hero.  He has served his country with honor and pride.  What the country and especially the GOP doesn’t need is for John McCain to makeover the GOP in his image.  His brand of Republican lost the last Presidential election along with the House and Senate.

“I think it’s important, at this stage in my career, to try to support candidates that I think represent the next generation of leadership in the Republican Party,” the 73-year-old McCain said on his way to the Senate floor for a vote last week.   The main beneficiary of McCain’s largesse so far: Illinois Senate candidate Mark Kirk, whom you’ll remember for his crucial House vote in favor of cap-and-trade.

“I think he’s endorsed people with center-right politics because he has an understanding that the party is in trouble with certain demographics and wants to have a tone that would allow us to grow,” said Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who is McCain’s closest friend and ally in the Senate.

Senator McCain, Senator Graham, Mark Kirk and their ilk are what is wrong with the Republican Party.  There is no difference between people like Kirk and honestly you Senator McCain and the Democrats.  The GOP is not an arm of the Democratic party.

Rush Limbaugh put it bluntly, “I think it’s time for the McCain crowd to acknowledge they are losers and pack it in. They’ve done enough damage to the Republican Party. Move aside and let a brighter, more principled, and more competent generation of people clean up the mess they helped create.”

There is an increasingly public war over the party’s future between party moderates, who advocate for a more constructive posture towards elitist progressive Obama and Democrats, and the restive, angry, uncompromising Palin Nation wing.

We see what Obama is doing to America.  The polls show America is rejecting Obama’s attempted socialist takeover of America.  That means as the last election showed Senator McCain America is rejecting your policies.

The country is more conservative than the socialist moves happening now.  The Republicans were winning elections when they stuck with their conservative roots.  Governor Sarah Palin and her ilk are the real future of the GOP.

Governor Palin has the Christian ethics and morals America wants.  She has the family values that helped make America great.  More people like Governor Sarah Palin in the GOP will make the Republican Party strong again.
