How Will Victories Affect Republicans?

Are The Republicans Ready To Rebound?

It has been hard on the Republicans since 2006.  Will wins in New Jersey, Virginia, and New York revitalize the Republican Party?  Is the Republican Party ready to rebound?  Has the Republican Party learned its lessons?

If you listen to the elitist progressive main stream media the answers are no.  That the Republican Party needs a big tent and the conservatives are pushing people away.  It’s odd the Democrats have never needed that big tent.  Yes they have many fringe leftist groups and at the same time they are the racist party.

The main stream media says if political winds start blowing harder behind them and even if they can capitalize on Democratic missteps, Republicans still will have a long way to go over the next year because of their party's own fundamental problems and divisions over the path forward, the lack of a national leader and a shrinking base in a changing nation.

The main stream media says even with a sweep of all three races the Republican Party would overcome none of its problems.   That in fact, 2009 seems to have underscored what may be the biggest impediment for Republicans the war within their base.

"It's going to be a difficult road to walk, to work with relatively new entrants into the political system and to work with them to show them that, by and large, we are the party who represents their interests," House Republican leader John Boehner told CNN on Sunday, arguing that there's "a political rebellion" taking place in the country.

"Right now there's no central Republican leader to turn to, and there's no central Republican message," conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh told Fox News on Sunday. "The Republican message is sort of muddied. What do they stand for? Right now it's opposition to Obama."

The main stream media and Rush Limbaugh are both correct.  There is no strong out front leader of the Republican Party now.  The media is wrong though about a shrinking base in a changing nation.  America has never been and most Americans don’t now want to be a socialist country as Obama and the Democrats are trying to take us.

Over 40% of Americans say they are conservative.  When the Republican Party was conservative they did well and America did well.  The good old boys that want to take the Republican Party to the left should become Democrats.  Conservatives don’t want a Democrat among them.  We want a true conservative party.  The conservatives outnumber the left wing.

The Republican Party can be strong again. Once they return to their conservative Christian values America will be with them.
