AARP No Longer Represents Senior Citizens

AARP no longer representative of our senior citizens.  Last Thursday they sold out senior citizens for the almighty dollar.  AARP was bought and paid for by elitist progressive Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats.

The AARP got a financial windfall in return for its support of the socialist Obamacare healthcare bill.  During the last 10 years through its subsidiary company, AARP has changed from an advocacy group to an insurance company.  AARP is one of the main suppliers of Medi-gap insurance, a high-cost, privately purchased coverage that picks up where Medicare leaves off.

President Bush-43 passed the Medicare Advantage program, which offered a subsidized, lower-cost alternative to Medi-gap. Under Medicare Advantage, senior citizens get all the extra coverage they need plus coordinated, well-managed care, usually by the same physician.  More than 10 million seniors went with Medicare Advantage, cutting into AARP Medi-gap revenues.

Along came Obama to solve the loss of revenue for AARP.  Obama eliminates subsidies for Medicare Advantage. The elderly will have to pay more for coverage under Medi-gap, but the AARP which supposedly represents them will make more money.

Obama buys AARP off and America’s senior citizens lose coverage.  AARP no longer represents our senior citizens.  AARP worships at the foot of Obama socialized Obamacare and the money they will make while our senior citizens lose.
