Is A Filibuster Close Behind?

Using a unique rule of the Senate Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) has confirmed he will demand that elitist progressive Harry Reid’s version of Obamacare socialized health care be read.  Will there even be a bill that can be read?  Reid is known for his phantom bills.  Vote on it and I’ll get it written soon.

Republicans are also threatening a filibuster of Obamacare on the Senate floor.  The Democrats would need 60 votes to stop a filibuster.  Now is the time America to put the pressure on your Senators.  There are several Democrats that are waffling on Obamacare.

There are three Democrat Senators that could be pivotal in the 60 votes needed to stop a filibuster.  Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), Ben Nelson (D-NE), and Bill Nelson (D-FL) are key votes on stopping a filibuster.  If these three Democrats vote to end the filibuster, they are, in effect, voting for passage of Obamacare socialized health care.  Voting to end the filibuster and against final passage is a clever way Democrats up for re-election have found to pass bills they want, but know they cannot support.

They accomplish passage by ensuring there is a simple majority to actually pass Obamacare after the filibuster is stopped.  They then vote against Obamacare’s final passage trying to convince the hard working taxpayers they represent they voted against Obamacare.

Stay engaged America.  Keep the pressure on your Senators.  Those of you in Arkansas, Florida, and Nebraska remind your Senators of the consequences that you won’t be fooled by a slight of hand vote to end the filibuster followed by a NO vote on Obamacare socialized health care.  A vote to end the filibuster is a vote for Obamacare.
