Obama Counts On Unions But He May Help Destroy Them

Unions are a mainstay and huge supporters of socialist Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats.  Obama in his first 4 months has shown he will lie, cheat, and steal for the unions.  That may not be enough.  Obama may wind up destroying the unions he loves.

Obama’s economic policies are crippling America.  States, counties, cities, and school districts are being hit hard by the recession.  Most union jobs today are with these entities.  The only growth in union jobs is with the federal government.  That too will have to end.  America can’t afford this wild federal growth.

With tax revenues decreasing the states, counties, cities, and school districts can’t sustain the huge union payrolls and benefits.  These government entities in the past gave the unions whatever they wanted.  Now the big wages and benefits packages along with lucrative jobs incentives are starting to break the bank.

California is bankrupt.  They have no money to pay the union contracts or any of their obligations.  Have the unions offered to take any actions to help California?  NO!!  They say we have a contract and you have to honor it.  When they have no money they can’t honor the union contracts.

New Jersey has a new Governor.  Chris Christie is taking the bull by the horns.  Among many cost saving steps he is taking is one that will privatize 2,000 state jobs.  That means 2,000 high cost union employees will be replaced.  The state will make major savings from just 2,000 jobs.

Many government entities will soon have to make the same hard choices.  They must maintain a balanced budget.  They will have to lay off or fire many union employees.  In many areas this will be good.  These entities will be forced to learn to run a meaner leaner government.

The unions have solidly backed Obama and the Democrats.  It is Obama’s policies that keep us in a deep recession.  It is those policies that will cost many high paid union jobs.  Instead of helping unions Obama may be destroying them.
