Is Ones “Rights” Another’s “Slavery?”

Can Government Take from One And Give To Another?

There is no right for one to reap the benefits of another’s hard work. The government in taking from working Americans and giving to the non working is a form of servitude or slavery. Congress is always defining new rights people have. Every time they give a non worker a new right they are taking rights away from the working taxpaying American.

The only way to violate individual rights is through the initiation of force. A person who initiates force against you is attempting to negate your means of survival by forcing you to act against your judgment as to what your life requires. The only moral use of force is in retaliation against those who initiate its use. The sole proper purpose of government is to protect its citizens’ rights by banning the initiation of force and placing its retaliatory use under objective control. The purpose of the U.S. Constitution was, and is, to establish and maintain the supremacy of individual rights over our society and our government.

Before the liberal socialists scream about social security and Medicare they are earned rights by working people. That is a huge difference than taking from the working and giving to the non worker. Every paycheck we have withheld and our employer matches FICA and Medicare.

The Congress has mismanaged the monies collected for Social Security and Medicare poorly. The greedy politicians saw a way to buy votes from the non workers. They have used the money we have paid into the government for our retirement and health care to buy votes from non workers and then tell us the workers they are entitled to OUR money.

The root of this evil is altruism, the perverse principle that “man has no right to exist for his own sake, that service to others is the only justification of his existence, and that self-sacrifice is his highest moral duty, virtue, and value” (Rand). Thus, altruism negates individual rights. If one has no right to exist for one’s own sake, one has no rights whatsoever.

The government enslaves the working Americans to give to the non workers, the moochers. The latest figures are 47% of Americans pay no income tax. They receive benefits that we who work don’t receive from the government. Nowhere in the Constitution can you find where this is written. Congress makes slaves out of working Americans to buy votes from the non working moochers.
