There Are Vast Philosophical Differences

There are vast philosophical differences which separate liberals and conservatives.  There are good liberals and bad liberals.  There are good conservatives and bad conservatives.  Neither group holds the title of best or worse. 

Liberals look at the world and America through vastly different eyes than do conservatives.  Their views and perspective of America, the world, our place in the world and how these connect is on the other end of the spectrum than conservatives.

To use an old analogy liberals see the glass as half empty.  Most conservatives see the glass as half full.  How we treat that glass shows the vastly different philosophy of the two divergent groups.

Staying with the glass analogy the liberal sees another glass that is three-quarter full.  Their natural instinct is take from the glass with more and give to the glass with less.  They see fairness in taking from more and giving to less.  They now see two glasses that are even and see nothing wrong with taking from the other to accomplish this.

The conservative see the same two glasses.  The conservative though sees more, they see a scenario where If all work together they can drill a well.  Both glasses benefit and many others can benefit from their work.  Many more glasses get filled this way and now the free enterprise system works.

The liberal looks at what the conservative has done.  They don’t see the fairness of all working or all being rewarding according to how hard and how much they work.  Instead they see a mean, uncaring, and even at times racist that made the “half empty” glass work.  The liberal perspective is why make them work when you can take from the other and then both are even.

The conservative says let everyone work.  There will be more for all.  The harder you work the more you’re rewarded.
Especially since the days of LBJ and the “great society” our government has at every turn made America more of a nanny state.  Taking from the worker and giving to the non worker.  That liberal philosophy helps no one.

We need to wean the people who look to the government for everything from this nanny state mentality.  What has made America great was a hard working work ethic.  Not a take from one and give to another.

Stop the nanny state, government knows best, we will redistribute and change to everyone works hard together.   Election 2010 is the turning point.  Does the liberal or the conservative philosophy make more sense to you?
