Obama Doesn’t Understand Leadership

Leadership is a talent that most good leaders are born with.  It isn’t something you see.  It’s something you feel when in the presence of a natural leader.  Many people learn to supervise but never to truly lead.  Barack Hussein Obama has no leadership skills and doesn’t know how to supervise.  He shows daily his lack of leadership skills.

The worst thing a new leader can do is blame others.  Since Obama took office it has been a blame game.  Nothing is his fault or his responsibility.  First it was George Bush’s fault.  Now 18 months into his presidency Obama still blames Bush.  Since Bush Obama has blamed Wall Street, Banks, major corporations, the list goes on. 

A good leader doesn’t threaten punishment or as Obama smugly put it “kick ass.”  You don’t build cohesiveness and strong loyalty or gain successes when the team is in constant fear of public ridicule or being fired.  An experienced leader knows it is much more effective to motivate through reward than through punishment.

You don’t work for a good leader you work with them.  Good leaders rarely tell you to do something they asked.  When you make mistakes, as we all do there is no shouting or punishment.  When you are successful they help you feel the pride.

A good leader goes to the problem.  They are where the action is. Dithering in the White House for weeks or flying around the country attending parties, social events, speaking at political fund raisers or playing basketball and golf simply doesn’t cut it.

Obama in the Gulf crisis as other situations steers away from them.  A good leader faces them head on.  Being a community organizer and an adjunct college instructor didn’t teach Obama any leadership skills and he has no natural leadership skills.
