Social Security Running Out Of Money
Congress Ponzi Scheme
Our Representatives and Senators in Congress give strong verbiage to writing laws to protect us from Ponzi schemes. We have federal laws against Ponzi schemes. The states have laws against Ponzi schemes. The FBI, Federal Attorneys, and Prosecuting Attorneys are supposed to protect Americans against Ponzi schemes and prosecute those who set them up.
Congress has created the biggest Ponzi scheme ever. It’s called social security. Congress years ago decided to put the monies collected for social security into the general budget. When they did this they knew and still know that they can’t meet social security obligations. Our Representatives and Senators didn’t care then and don’t care now. They have bought many votes using social security funds for everything but retirement for senior citizens.
Law enforcement has shirked their duty. They haven’t enforced our laws on Ponzi schemes when it involves Congress. Congress has made social security a Ponzi scheme and those who have voted to do so should be prosecuted as any other criminal would be.
The premise and goals of social security are laudable. To help senior citizens in their retirement years is a laudable goal that all of America agrees with. If Congress wouldn’t have become greedy and used billions of dollars of social security funds to buy votes it wouldn’t be in the financial straits that it is now in.
It’s not too late if we take the steps to preserve social security. Most of us have paid all of our working lives into the social security fund. Congress has used that money in ways it wasn’t meant to be used.
Is it time to look at abolishing the IRS and taxing consumption instead of penalizing hard work and achievement as our current tax system does? Is it time to look at FairTax? Using FairTax and a Congress that isn’t spending wildly we can save social security and balance the budget.
