“It feels bad” Says Obama

The 2010 elections were historic.  The important question now is does Barack Obama understand the election results?  From his news conference it doesn’t appear Obama has a clue what the elections meant.  Never in modern history has a president or his policies been as soundly rejected as Obama’s were Tuesday.

Obama acknowledged that his party took a "shellacking" at the polls Tuesday night, telling a White House news conference that he takes "direct responsibility" for the frustration voters feel, particularly on the economy.  Still he repeatedly refused to say that historic GOP gains across the country were a widespread rejection of the policies his administration has pursued.

The election, Obama said, "underscores for me that I have to do a better job." He went on to say, "I've been willing to compromise in the past, and I'll be willing to compromise going forward."

Obama doesn’t understand what compromise means.  We have seen his idea of compromise.  Simply put it is my way or the highway.  He better Google the word compromise and have someone explain the definition to him.

 Obama repeatedly cited energy reform and education as possible areas of common ground with the Republican caucuses in both chambers of Congress. But asked about health care reform, a bill that GOP leader John Boehner and other Republicans have pledged to repeal, Obama signaled that while he was willing to entertain some efforts to "tweak" the law, he would not cede any major ground.

"We'd be misreading the election if we thought that the American people would want to see us for the next two years re-litigate the arguments we had for the last two years," Obama told reporters.

Obama is the ostrich with his head buried in the sand.  He is not capable of accepting that his socialist agenda has been rejected.  America doesn’t want Obamacare, a growing federal government, or a growing deficit.

It appears Obama has drawn the line in the sand.  He, even after the elections is determined to push his socialist agenda.  He will not compromise.  Obama is a narcissist and ideologue incapable of understanding or accepting his policies have been rejected.
