The Left Wants To Rewrite Huckleberry Finn

The politically correct socialist Democrats now are going to rewrite Huckleberry Finn.  Publishers Weekly says, NewSouth Books' upcoming edition of Mark Twain's novel "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" will remove all instances of the N-word present in the text and replace it with slave.

The new edition of the book will also remove usage of the word Injun. The effort is spearheaded by Twain expert Alan Gribben, who says his PC-ified version is not an attempt to neuter the classic but rather to update it.  "Race matters in these books," Gribben told PW. "It's a matter of how you express that in the 21st century."

This is censorship of a great American classic novel.  The socialist democrats for years have been rewriting history to fit their politically correct agenda.  Now they are rewriting an ageless classic,

Mark Twain was writing about an era in America’s history.  You can’t rewrite what America really was or what Twain’s impression of America was.

How far will censorship go in the name of political correctness?  How much of history and the great novels will the corrupt unethical Democrats rewrite?

We’ve started and we can’t quit in taking America back from the socialist left Democrats.  America is worth the battle.  Our children and grandchildren are worth the battle.
