The History Democrats Hide

The great Democrat lie for the last 40+ years has been they preserve social security and the Republicans want to take it from you. Yet it is the Democrats have made the moves that are destroying social security.

Social security became law under FDR. Working Americans would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 they earned. The money wouldn’t be taxable and would be put in a trust fund. It would only be used to pay social security retirement. It would never be taxed.

Now we contribute 7.65% of our first $90,000 and our employer matches our 7.65%.

When LBJ was president, he and the Democrat controlled Congress took the money we pay into FICA out of the trust fund and put it into the governments general fund. This move was to hide the deficit caused by the "Great Society." It made our social security less secure.

The Democrats then for more revenue to spend on buying votes i.e. social programs started taxing social security under Bill Clinton. Yes the Democrats started that tax. Al Gore broke the 50-50 Senate tie. We have Mr. Green I invented the internet Gore to thank for that tax.

Now up to 85% of your social security is taxed. Did Bill Clinton really get his imaginary budget surplus on the backs of our senior citizens?

Jimmy (the peanut farmer) carter and his Democrat Congress had their hand in the destruction of social security too. Carter was the genius who started giving immigrants social security at the age of 65. NO number of minimum quarters of employment for them to qualify as for hard working Americans.

It’s the Democrats who have thrown granny over the cliff not Republicans. The Democrats and the main stream media will never tell you the truth. It’s to their advantage to lie and balme the ‘evil’ Republicans.
