Heat Also From Establishment Republicans

Representative Allen West (R-FL) took a lot of heat from the left - and even from those in the establishment Republican Party - for saying that the leftist ideas of creating economic dependency have no place in the United States. In response to his critics, He had another great line. "The days of conservatives being punching bags is over," he said. "We have to stand up! We have to stand up on principle!"

Two things have become abundantly clear over the past week. First, Allen West is a conservative hero worthy of our support. We need more leaders like him, not only in Washington, but all across the country. Second, because of bold leadership and willingness to speak the truth, the left will stop at nothing to defeat Allen West!

Allen West is a combat veteran and war hero, he is a hero of the Conservative grassroots movement, and he is my personal hero. We're talking about a man who not only eloquently articulates our values, he's also not afraid to tell the left to sit down and shut up!

His record of public service is unmatched in Congress, and his ability and willingness to stand up for us and our values make him an incredible voice for We the People in Washington, DC.

This is why the Democrats despise him so much! They can't stand that a freshman Tea Party Congressman has been a vocal proponent for the cause of liberty, they can't stand that he's had legislative success, and they can't stand that he would dare challenge them on their lies!

The army of the Democrats, made up of corrupt unions, big-government dependents, and special interests, is committed to tearing down this hero, and we have to refuse to let that happen! We're seeing the political establishment begin its plot to take him out because of it.

The establishment Republicans tried to draw him out of a seat, putting many more Democrats in his district than he had previously. He is a hero he won't quit.
