Second Pre-schooler Fed Chicken Nuggets

Government Deciding What Our Children Can Eat

A Hoke County pre-schooler was fed chicken nuggets for lunch because a state worker felt that her homemade lunch did not have enough nutritional value, according to a report by the Carolina Journal.

The West Hoke Elementary School student was in her More at Four classroom when a state agent who was inspecting lunch boxes decided that her packed lunch — which consisted of a turkey and cheese sandwich, a banana, apple juice and potato chips — "did not meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines," the Journal reports.

Now a second child has had the same thing happen to her at the school. Diane Zambrano says she was told by Jazlyn’s teacher that the lunch she had packed that day did not meet the necessary guidelines and that Jazlyn had been sent to the cafeteria. 4-year-old daughter.

The lunch Zambrano packed for her daughter? A cheese and salami sandwich on a wheat bun with apple juice. The lunch she got in the cafeteria? Chicken nuggets, a sweet potato, bread and milk.

Do you remember reading how in the former communist Russia there would be agents checking on everyone and monitoring things? Inspecting lunches is no different. What is our government becoming?

The federal government is taking America's rights away. Barack Obama and his administration have no respect for the Constitution or our rights.
